Text Box: Welcome. This is the new website for UCSB’s Film and Media Studies 150VG, otherwise known as Video Games Studies. The site is still new, so there may not be much up here right now, but I’m working on that. Some of the things I am planning is to get a forum up, so we can engage in debates and conversations; a place to view projects, both new and old; and links to other media that has to do with our readings. Three projects added so far, all of them quality.—4/15/08 New Section: Projects, but I need you’re help filling it up.—3/5/08 Recently discuss the value of cut-scenes? (No? Maybe you missed that class.) Well here’s my view on that. —3/2/03 University of Texas created a video game archive. Read all about it. —2/27/08 I have a forum up now. Let me know how it works. Unfortunately, you have to leave this website to take part in the forum. —2/21/08 The first thing I have up is a collection of clips having to do with Fox News and video games. Check it out to see the terrible things Fox has been saying. In some society, this would mean war.
